Queen In Hyun’s Man - Episode 13

I know everyone is upset that our favorite couple will have to separate (for now), but  we all knew this was coming. I love that the writer left clues that told us this back and forth couldn’t continue. Even better the clues were subtle so that we could prepare ourselves the inevitable conclusion but still be able to enjoy the romance. History can’t keep changing and, while I would love Boong Do to drop everything and be with Hee Jin in the present, He still has a purpose that was determined before they even met each other. He has to fulfill that purpose otherwise, as he said, he won’t be able to live with himself even if he’s with Hee Jin. I’m already prepared for more heartbreak tomorrow, but I find comfort in a few things: 

1. Heartbreak is usually short lived on this show
2. We saw from the very beginning that these two will indeed see each other again
3. Once Boong Do makes a promise to protect Queen In Hyun AND Hee Jin, you know he’s going to keep it
